Trusting In God's Strength
Today's verses — Isaiah 40:29-31 - NIV
29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

These verses serve as a reminder that our strength comes from the Lord. In our daily lives, it is easy to grow tired and exhausted—physically, emotionally, or spiritually. But, when we place our trust and hope in God and wait on Him, He will refresh our strength.
We may experience hardships in life that make us feel weak and helpless. However, God promises to provide power to the weak and strength to those who need it. This means that no matter how helpless or weak we feel, we can always turn to God and seek for His supply of strength.
Let us take comfort in these words from Isaiah and remember that God is ready to give us the strength that we need. Let us wait on Him, and trust in His strength and love for us. Then, we will feel the joy and peace that come from knowing that we are not alone and that our strength comes from the Lord.
Our Father in heaven, we acknowledge that You’ll give us strength today. We appreciate the promise in Isaiah 40:29-31 that You give power to the weak and strength to the weak. We need Your power to overcome daily fatigue.
Lord, give us the confidence and strength to trust and rely on You daily. Help us pray, wait, concentrate on Your Word, practice self-care, and serve others. Trusting that You will renew our strength.
We pray for wisdom and guidance as we face life's obstacles. Remind us that You are always with us. We pray for Your serenity and comfort, trusting in Your plan.
Thank you for Your love, grace, and mercy. We pray all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
